The Town of East Hampton is proud to once again partner with Toys for Tots, a nationwide program that helps bring holiday cheer to children and families in need. From November 10 through December 10, the Town will serve as an official collection site for new, unwrapped toys.
The East Hampton Town Police Benevolent Association (PBA), Superior Officers Association (SOA), Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA), and the Department Heads Association have joined together with the Town to support this important annual effort.
Drop-off location:
East Hampton Town Hall
159 Pantigo Road, East Hampton, NY 11937
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Toys are needed for children of all ages, from infants to teens, with a special emphasis on gifts for older children and teenagers.
“This time of year reminds us how special our community is,” said Town Supervisor Kathee Burke-Gonzalez. “When we come together to support one another, we show what makes East Hampton such a caring and connected place. Every toy donated helps bring a little more joy to a child in our community, and that is what the holidays are truly about.”
East Hampton Town Police Benevolent Association President Joseph Izzo said, “The holidays can be especially difficult for families facing financial challenges. By donating even a single toy, you are helping create moments of joy and connection that children will remember for years.”
CSEA President Julie Akkala added, “Our Town employees take pride in serving the community, and that includes lending a hand to those who need it most. We hope everyone will join us in spreading kindness this holiday season.”
Department Heads Association Spokesperson Jeanne Carroza said, “As department heads, we’re proud to join this effort alongside our colleagues across Town government. Supporting Toys for Tots is a simple but meaningful way to give back and help make the holidays brighter for local families.”
Residents are encouraged to drop off donations during regular business hours at Town Hall between November 10 and December 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
