DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS DUE TO HURRICANE ERIN – EXTENSION THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING
A HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK AND HIGH SURF ADVISORY ARE IN EFFECT. At the direction of Suffolk County Department of Health Services, swimming shall remain prohibited at all ocean beaches until Saturday evening, 8/23/25, due to hazardous conditions expected as a result of Hurricane Erin. Follow all directives of the lifeguards and Town personnel in order to keep yourself and them safe.
