Now Seeking Qualified Individual to Serve on the Planning Board • Southampton, NY

The Town of Southampton is seeking a qualified individual to serve on the Town Planning Board.

The Planning Board was established pursuant to New York State Town Law, Article 16, Section 271. The Southampton Town Planning Board is authorized to review land use development applications to ensure proposed activities are compatible with the Town’s Comprehensive Plan and in conformance with the Town Code and regulations.

The Planning Board’s development review responsibilities include:

• Major and minor subdivisions
• Lot line modifications
• Site plan review
• Special exception permits
• Old filed map review

The Planning Board meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month, with a regular meeting/work session at 2:00 PM, followed by a public hearing at 6:00 PM. southamptontownny.gov/PlanningBoard
