Nylon’s NYFW party draws celebs, scenesters — and the fire marshal

Nylon magazine’s New York Fashion Week party at the Classic Car Club in NYC over the weekend was so hot, the fire marshal showed up, leaving even VIPs like rapper Lil Yachty waiting in line.

While only a few seemed to give up hope for eventual entry, there were some grumblings from the swarms of scenesters trying to get into the bash, as security tried to move them into organized rows.

“The war ended years ago!” one wiseacre would-be partier yelled at a guard who promised the guy he was now officially banned.

Those lucky enough to get in were treated to a DJ set by hip duo Sofi Tukker — including celebrities like Ice Spice, Paige DeSorbo, Storm Reid and “Barbie” star Ariana Greenblatt.

“Never Have I Ever” heartthrob Darren Barnet was having a blast as he danced with pals near a VIP table.

Also spotted making the rounds: Coi Leray, Remy Bond, Jordyn Woods and Bryan Goldberg, the head of Bustle Digital Group, which counts the mag amongst its properties.

Earlier in the night the mag’s EIC Lauren McCarthy held an intimate dinner at the Standard, High Line, for influencer guests like Ashtin Earle, Jake Shane and Delaney Rowe, as well as socialite Ivy Getty.

The brand, which recently launched a membership program, has been making a splash with a number of high-profile parties.

In December, the mag threw a party during Art Basel Miami Beach at a mansion with a performance by Ludacris that brought out “Havana” singer Camila Cabello, Janelle Monae and DJ John Summit.

Last summer, the brand took over Montauk hotspot the Surf Lodge on July Fourth weekend, holding five nights of fetes for celebs like Emma Roberts and Bethenny Frankel.
