Updated Receiver of Taxes Holiday Sched

Please be advised that the Receiver of Taxes holiday schedule has been updated as follows:

Wednesday, December 24: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Closed: Thursday, December 25 & Friday, December 26
Closed: Thursday, January 1

Residents may view, print, and pay property taxes online through the Town of Southampton Receiver of Taxes Property Tax Payment Portal.

The first installment of Southampton Town property taxes is due January 10, 2026. (If payment has already been made or mailed, please disregard this notice.)

Payments are accepted by mail, in person, online, and at all DIME Bank and M&T Bank branches (tax bill payment coupon required; banks will accept payments only until January 10). 
The Receiver of Taxes Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Because January 10, 2026, is a Saturday, payments will be accepted in person, online, and by postmark through Monday, January 12, 2026. Private meter marks are not accepted.

Checks should be made payable to the Receiver of Taxes.
