‘Today’ sees tourist green
NBC-TV’s “Today” show is schlepping to Ireland to telecast Oct. 16. Four hours live from Kenmare, County Kerry.

They’ll air live at five-star Sheen Falls Lodge in the Kerry countryside. It opened 1991, with fine cuisine at the Stables Brasserie. The Ring of Kerry Golf Club’s 18-hole course is just 5 miles off, views of Kenmare Bay and the Caha Mountains. The Easanna Wellness and Spa area treats all your varying bones. It’s 300 acres of five-star activities, including falconry, clay-pigeon shooting, horse riding, fishing, tennis and hiking.
Making the trip abroad are Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin, Al Roker, Carson Daly, Dylan Dreyer, Jenna Bush Hager, Sheinelle Jones and NBC News Chief International Correspondent Keir Simmons.
“Today” will take viewers cross country, sharing people’s stories, examining heritage and culture through local experiences, plus maybe a pint of beer. Celeb guests might join along the way.
Plagued by inequality

Cats’ big night
I was honored at John and Margo Catsimatidis’ 9/11 memorial for the 25th anniversary. Cats is so rich that the water in his bathtub has 14-karat rings. His car has a prescription windshield. I was to introduce my great friend Cardinal Timothy Dolan. He’s New York’s living equivalent of the Statue of Liberty. Even his mother once introduced him as “my son the Father.” It was 2,500 guests. On every table a large centerpiece. Full complete buildup was a replica of the 9/11 buildings. Margo and WABC Radio President Chad Lopez had them made. It was breathtaking. The food? I don’t know. Forget it. I’m told the chef was possibly Amelia Earhart.
Identity theft

WALDRON Casting is seeking non-union Shelter Island, NY, locals for a Netflix movie called “Women Like Us,” produced by Michelle Obama. It’s paid background work. Pay rate is $187 for up to 10 hours. Overtime pay after that. The announcement says, “Looking for a variety of types to portray Hamptons residents, resort guests, and upscale vacationers.” Lotsa luck.
If, in person, I ever meet whoever sent this above item, I’ll send back my favorite horror movie, “Cindy Does Dishes.”
