The Town of East Hampton, in partnership with Suffolk County, acquired the Boys & Girls Harbor property located at 180 Springy Banks Road on May 26, 2011. The Town and County own the property as tenants in common. The 27-acre site originally hosted a summer camp for urban youth. An old bunkhouse and other structures have since been removed.
The access from Springy Banks Road connects to the former basketball court which was converted to and used for off-street parking and handicapped spaces.
