Community Development Block Grant Program

Annually, the Town of East Hampton receives approximately $120,000 in Federal Community Development Block Grant Funds. These funds may be used and have been used for a variety of projects that benefit Low and Moderate Income Persons, Aid in the Prevention or Elimination of Slums or Blight and/or Meet a Need Having a Particular Urgency.

• Elimination of Physical Barriers to the Handicapped
• Housing Rehabilitation
• Neighborhood Improvement Programs
• Public Facilities and Improvements
• Public Service Activities
• Street Improvements
